An overwhelming majority of the attorneys at Richardson Thomas are included in the just-released 2024 South Carolina “Super Lawyers” list and “Super Lawyers: Ones to Watch.” The honorees include Amy L.B. Hill, who is named to the Top 25 attorneys list in South Carolina.
“It’s a real honor to work with Amy every day and to see up close the impressive skills and knowledge she offers every client,” firm co-founder Terry Richardson said. “It is not surprising at all that her peers across the state hold her in such high esteem. We certainly do.”
The five and their primary practice areas listed:
- Amy L.B. Hill: Business Litigation
- Chris Moore: Personal Injury, Plaintiff
- Terry E. Richardson Jr.: Personal Injury, Plaintiff
- Brady R. Thomas: Personal Injury, Plaintiff

The latest listings continue a long string of success for the firm’s attorneys. Richardson has been included in “Super Lawyers” for 17 years, while Hill has been included for nine years. The other attorneys have appeared three times each.
Released annually, “Super Lawyers is a rating service of lawyers across more than 70 practice areas. The selection process begins with a nomination from a peer. Next, the Super Lawyers attorney-led research staff evaluates the nominees based on 12 indicators of professional achievement and peer recognition. This includes everything from verdicts and settlements to honors and awards.
Finally, a blue-ribbon panel of attorneys in the same practice areas review and rate the nominees. The final Super Lawyers list includes no more than 5 percent of the attorneys in each state. Rising Stars, a designation for attorneys younger than 40 or with less than a decade of practice, recognizes no more than 2.5 percent of a state’s eligible lawyers.
