Terry E. Richardson Jr. and Chris Moore are included in the just-released 2021 edition of Super Lawyers, a national guide to the nation’s top attorneys.
A companion piece, South Carolina Super Lawyers, lists Moore in the practice area of business litigation. Moore is listed as a Rising Star in the practice area of personal injury, products, plaintiff.
Richardson has been included in every edition of Super Lawyers since 2008. He is listed among South Carolina’s Top 10 attorneys again this year. Moore has made the Rising Stars list annually since 2018.
A consummate litigator who has tried, and won, some of the largest cases in South Carolina, Richardson is regarded as one of the pre-eminent plaintiff attorneys in the southeast. His practice includes class actions, catastrophic injuries, securities fraud, product liability, and more.
Moore has earned a reputation as a leader in litigation involving faulty lithium-ion batteries. He’s pursued cases against national retailers and manufacturers when devices powered by the batteries, such as remote-control vehicles and e-cigarettes, have overheated and exploded.
About Super Lawyers
Attorneys are selected for Super Lawyers and Rising Stars after a multiphase process that starts with a survey of attorneys in each state. After each candidate is independently researched, a blue-ribbon panel of peers in each of 70 practice areas evaluates nominees.
No more than 5 percent of a state’s attorneys are selected each year for Super Lawyers. Rising Stars, a list of attorneys under 40 or with 10 years or less of practice, is limited to 2.5 percent.
