Attorney Dixie McCollum joins Richardson Thomas

Richardson Thomas is pleased to welcome Dixie McCollum as our newest attorney. She will represent clients in serious injury, wrongful death, and dangerous products cases. Her practice also will include class action and whistleblower litigation.

Before joining Richardson Thomas in our Columbia office, Dixie worked for nearly two years in the Charlotte office of an international law firm. During that time, Dixie assisted clients on a wide range of employment issues and honed her litigation and writing skills.

Dixie graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she served as Editor in Chief of the South Carolina Law Review. She won two prestigious CALI Awards and served as a law clerk for four law firms while earning her juris doctor.

She received a bachelor’s degree with dual majors in international relations and Spanish from Wofford College. Dixie graduated summa cum laude, studying abroad in Germany, Chile, and Spain during her time at Wofford.
